This is the list with the top 50 NBA teams in winning percentage in the regular season.

Here you have the list with the top 50 performances in the NBA Regular Season. Twenty four of them turned out to be the NBA champions, among them 7 Celtics squads, 7 Lakers and 4 Bulls.

The 1996 Chicago Bulls led by Michael Jordan are the best in NBA history with 72 victories and the 1972 Lakers with Jerry West and Wilt Chamberlain on their roster are second with 69 victories that included an NBA record 33-game winning streak.

The 2006-07 Mavericks had a great season that sent them to the 6th place here with 67 wins, but they also became the first number 1 seeded team to lose a best-of-seven first round series (at the hands of the Warriors). The Warriors also won 67 games and had the best season in franchise history in 2015.

The trio of Garnett, Allen and Pierce won 66 games in 2007-08 Celtics before winning the Championship. The same did the 2013 Miami Heat led by Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol's 2009 Lakers have their place here with 65 victories..
